Opportunities
 There are numerous
volunteer opportunities at Fort Leavenworth.
Installation Volunteer Coordinator (IVC). IVC office recruits potential
volunteers while coordinating 23 volunteer organizations, to provide training
and placement.
ACS Volunteer Corps. Organized to encourage and assist the military
community to volunteer and share their time and skills in all ACS programs.
Mayoral Program. Each housing area is represented by a mayor, and
a vice-mayor. Mayors monitor and report Quality of Life issues in post housing.
They provide a vital communication link between the housing residents
and the command group.
English as a Second Language. Conversational English and Cultural Learning
class held once a week.
Volunteer Job Descriptions. Descriptions of ACS job opportunities to
include job qualifications, training, time commitment and duties.
