EAGLE RISING SOCIETY

The Warrant Officer Career College’s (WOCC) Eagle Rising Society (sponsored by the MOAA) recognizes individuals who have contributed significantly to the promotion of the Warrant Officer Corps in ways that stand out in the eyes of the recipient’s seniors, subordinates, and peers.  These individuals must also demonstrate the highest standards of integrity and moral character, display an outstanding degree of professional competency, and serve the United States Army community with distinction.

The WOCC will approve a maximum of two recipients.  The nomination packet must contain a nomination form and all supporting documentation.  All information may be sent electronically to RUCK.ATSW-ZA@conus.army.mil, or faxed to (334) 255-1395 (DSN 558), or mailed to:

 All nominations are due no later than 14 May 2010

Recipients receive the Medallion of the Eagle Rising Society, Certificate, five hundred dollars, *MOAA Lifetime Membership, and their names are added to the plaque displayed at the WOCC (see bylaws for complete details).

WARRANT OFFICER CANDIDATE SCHOOL

If you've been selected, then you need the following:

NEW REQUIREMENT - All Active Army candidates must bring the first 3 pages of their DA Form 61 (Application for Appointment) with them to WOCS.

Writing, communication and study skills are essential to your success, whether attending WO Candidate School, WO Staff Course, or WO Senior Staff Course.  The following resources are provided to assist you in your preparation:

HOW CAN I GET AN ASSIGNMENT AT WOCC?

Most positions at USAWOCC are open to any Warrant Officer MOS. A normal tour is 3 to 4 years.
